In getting ready to post this, I had to stop and think what I do that someone else might benefit from hearing and I think I have just the ticket - Easy Kids School Papers and Project Storage.
I really used to struggle with what to do with the jillions of papers and projects my kids have started creating, especially once school started in the Fall. I swear they by the handful and multiply like rabbits! I was realistic enough to know that I had no intention of keeping each and every scrap of paper they brought me but what to do with what I wanted to keep? People have made plenty of money creating all sorts of fancy schmancy storage systems but that is really not my style.
Then I had an idea - Why not take a picture with my digital camera of the things I wanted to remember or compare? That way, I could keep the image and not have to worry about it degrading plus it is really easy to include them in the girl's scrapbooks and, best of all, they take almost NO room to keep! So, that's what I have been doing - keeping a few actual items but mostly taking pictures of the items and then discretely discarding them (out of my children's eye sight, to be sure.) It works for me....What do you do?

Great tip. I always considered doing this and putting some of the pictures on a scrapbook page, now that I know it works for someone I will definitely give it a shot.
I have thought of doing this, but so far just have a big pile of stuff. I know I can't keep it forever, but somehow I am not ready to let it go yet.
